The Celine Mini 16 takes its name from 16 rue Vivienne, the House's address at the hôtel particulier Colbert de Torcy in Paris. This compact version is made in black satinated calfskin, a leather chosen for the way it balances shine with transparency and given a finish exclusive to Celine leather goods. Each 16 is individually numbered on the back of the pocket.
A turn-lock closure secures the flap, beneath which sits an outer flat pocket. Inside, two main compartments are lined in lambskin and fitted with one flat pocket and one zipped pocket. A key holder and gold finishing complete the design.
The bag can be carried by hand using the handle, which has a 7 cm drop, or worn on the shoulder and across the body with the removable leather strap, which has a 48 cm drop. It measures 18.5 x 15.5 x 9 cm.
