This Prada duffle bag reflects the house's approach of pairing traditional materials with recycled, technologically innovative fibres. Black Re-Nylon, a regenerated nylon yarn made from recycled and purified plastic collected from the ocean, fishing nets and textile fabrics, is combined with Saffiano leather, the crosshatch-textured calf leather closely associated with Prada.
Leather handles and a detachable, adjustable woven nylon shoulder strap with shoulder pad offer two ways to carry it. The zip closure fastens with a lock, a removable leather name tag and keychain accompany the enameled metal triangle logo on the front, and the logo-print Re-Nylon lining has two zip pockets. It measures 33 cm in height, 27 cm in length and 55 cm in width.
Airing the bag after each use and choosing a specialised ecological dry cleaner over frequent washing help preserve the Re-Nylon.
